Rustic Matte White Speckled Stoneware Mug, 14 Ounce Pottery, Made in USA (B)

This is one of my favorite clays and glaze to work with. The finished mug has a smooth satin feel and the speckles that show through are pleasing to the eye. This mug was hand thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay. It was bisque fired and glazed with a matte white glaze that allows the natural speckling of the clay to show through. It was then high fired in my electric kiln. This unique cup will compliment any rustic, primitive or minimalist decor. Approximate size: 3.25" across the top rim and 3.75" high, holds approximately 14 oz. of liquid.
