Description Natural 40 ECO – Artificial Grass New in our Select Series is the Natural 40 ECO. This mat is a cheaper and more sustainable alternative to the Victoria 30 and lives up to its name. Thanks to the multi-coloured and non-directional fibre, this mat has a short, but wild (natural) look. The mat is suitable for places where animals and children play and is therefore also extremely suitable as a lawn or on a terrace or balcony. At Kunstgrass.nl we offer a number of fully recyclable artificial grass mats on. These can be recognized by the back of the mat and the fact that we call them ECO mats. With most types of artificial grass, the backing is secured with black latex. This means that the latex must first be separated from the bottom during recycling. Our ECO mats, on the other hand, are secured with a net. This does not detract from the firmness of the mat, but ensures that the artificial grass can go into the shredder in one go during recycling. This is good for the environment and for the next Natural 40 ECO mat! Pressure distribution cloth: Pressure distribution cloth has 3 functions: it serves as root protection, it provides a bit of fall damping and it provides pressure distribution. This cloth will therefore prevent holes from forming in the grass as a result of playing and jumping. The pressure distribution cloth must be laid under the artificial grass without overlap. In most cases we recommend the 'pressure distribution cloth medium', this is usually the best cloth for standard garden and grass use. If the artificial grass is more for decoration and is hardly or not walked on, we recommend the 'pressure distribution cloth light'. Ground stakes: Ground pegs are needed to firmly attach the artificial grass so that it cannot shift or even blow away. We advise to attach all corners with ground pegs and then place pegs approximately every meter. The ground pegs are galvanized so they will not rust. Sprinkling sand: Infill sand is a type of quartz sand (also called Quartz sand) and is spread on top of the artificial grass fibers. It is used to give the fibers stability and prevent weed growth, which will keep the artificial grass weed-free and upright for longer. The recommended amount is shown in the table above and is intended as a guideline. adhesive tape: If the garden is too wide and the artificial grass roll is therefore too narrow, it is possible to glue different pieces of artificial grass together with adhesive tape. Please note - for the best result, this can actually only be done on the straight sides and not on the end sides. Also remember that the grass must lie in the same direction, in shape with the pile. hard broom: Leaving the grass fibers of the artificial grass upright results in the most beautiful lawn possible. This is easiest done by brushing the artificial grass mat with a sturdy hard broom, then sprinkling in filler sand and then brushing the grass mat again.
