First of all, it ensures that the fibers of the artificial grass are more stable, which means that the fibers stand up straight better and longer. In addition, infill sand is specially treated to prevent weeds from growing between your artificial grass. Infill sand falls under the general group of 'quartz sand' (also called Quartz sand) just like silver sand, filter sand and white sand. The big difference between infill sand and other types of quartz sand is that it has been specially processed so that no weeds can grow in it. This is achieved by burning the quartz sand in an oven for some time, which strips the sand of all the nutrients that would otherwise be in it.
